Steelhorse Ride for Life
Saturday, September 16, 2023 | Due West UMC → Rome, GA → Red Top Brewhouse
On Saturday, September 16, 2023, riders set out for the annual Steelhorse Ride for Life in support of mothers and babies through Way Maker Women’s Center.
The 82-mile route began with check-in at 8:00 a.m. at Due West United Methodist Church, followed by kickstands up at 9:00 a.m. Riders journeyed north to Rome, GA, before turning back to finish at Red Top Brewhouse, where an after-ride celebration awaited with food, fellowship, and festivities starting at 11:30 a.m.
The event was more than just a ride—it was a powerful demonstration of dedication and generosity. Each participant worked hard to raise donations, knowing that every dollar directly supports women walking through unexpected pregnancies and young motherhood. Prizes were awarded to the top three fundraisers, honoring the incredible efforts of those who went above and beyond in rallying support.
We are so thankful for every rider, supporter, and donor who made this ride a success. Your commitment and passion help ensure that mothers and babies in our community experience love, care, and the hope of God’s provision.
