Way Maker 2025 Happenings
As we come to the close of another year, our hearts are filled with gratitude for our volunteers, community partners, donors, and corporate sponsors who love and support Way Maker so faithfully. We give thanks to our Father, who continues to guide our steps, reveal the path before us, and bring those in need through our doors. Each day, we strive to walk in obedience to His calling, eagerly trusting Him with what lies ahead. As we look toward 2026, we are prayerfully developing plans to create even more opportunities for the mothers and babies we serve—opportunities we hope will have a lasting impact for God’s kingdom.

Way Maker Happenings
In September we welcomed our newest Way Maker family member, Lincoln, Lathem and Kami’s (our Intake and Class Coordinator) son.
In November we welcomed Madison Mosteller to our team as Assistant to Director. She is a huge blessing bringing with her a wealth of experience in case management, an instructor of psychology, and a background in criminal defense.
Training has been on going this year with the latter part of the year providing classes to our Client Advocates and staff. We appreciate Covenant Care Adoptions for facilitating an afternoon educating and certifying us in Trauma Informed Care with Vulnerable Women and Ethical Adoption practices. In November, Life Resources of GA provided a weekend State conference for Executive Directors focusing on:
Creating traction for growth
How to unlock the impact
What we need to know for 2026
EOS system training and much more!

Community Partnerships
It was an honor to be able to provide five additional diaper bags for moms-to-be at Table on Delk. These bags help ensure that new mothers can come home from the hospital with essential items already in hand—easing stress and removing worry during such a tender season.
In August, we partnered with Communities in Schools during the McEachern High School Open House. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with students and parents, share information about Way Maker, and let them know about the resources available to support them. Self-restraint packets were also distributed to students as part of the event.
Way Maker celebrated its 4th birthday in July with a sweet celebration at Bruster’s on Due West! Despite the summer heat, it turned out to be the perfect day to cool off with ice cream while supporting our mission. We were so grateful to have around 80 friends join us to help mark this special milestone. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us!
In October, Way Maker was honored to receive a grant from the Due West Church Endowment. This generous support allowed us to fund a full year of English educational classes for our clients. We are truly grateful to have been selected as one of four recipients and thankful for the continued investment in the women and families we serve.
Thank you to Stitching Sally’s of Due West Church for loving on Way Maker so beautifully! Mary Jo Reeves, there truly are no words to express our gratitude for this thoughtful and generous gift. The care and support you ladies pour into our ministry mean more than you know.
Upcoming Events
On Friday, May 15, Way Maker Women’s Center will host our annual banquet at the Acworth Community Center. This special evening is designed to raise awareness and financial support for the educational classes, resources, and baby essentials we provide to mothers and women who walk through our doors.
To date, Way Maker has provided over 3,813 educational classes, distributed more than 31,000 diapers, welcomed 118 clients into our program, and celebrated 102 births. Your support helps make this life-changing work possible.
Guests will enjoy an evening of laughter with comedian Tim Boyd and a delicious meal from 1885 Grill Restaurant, all while partnering with us to empower mothers and nurture new life.
🎟 Tickets will go on sale soon!
If you’re interested in becoming a corporate sponsor or donating items for our silent auction, please contact us at info@waymaker.center.
We look forward to celebrating with you and making a lasting impact together.
Christmas Angel Tree
Way Maker’s Angel Tree this Christmas supported 5 families and 12 children, and we were so blessed by the incredible help that went into making sure each family was ready for Santa.
In addition to gifts for the children and families, we were able to provide gift cards, gingerbread houses to decorate, hot chocolate, and candy canes—adding a few extra touches to make the season feel even more special.
Because of the generosity of our donors, these families were able to enjoy Christmas and see smiles on the faces of their little ones. We are so grateful to the following supporters who made this possible:
Family of Matt Boulaine
Staff of Due West Methodist Church
Naomi Ruth Sunday School Class
Stepping Into the Bible Sunday School Class
The Mosteller Family
The Casteel Family
Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ and for bringing joy, warmth, and hope to families in our community this Christmas season.
Thank you…
Baby Bottle Campaign
If your church or organization would like to sponsor us with a bottle campaign during the year, please contact us at info@waymaker.center.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated their time, financial gifts, gently used baby clothes, diapers, wipes, baby items, prayers, and support. Your generosity allows our mothers to see and experience God’s love in action, while also helping Way Maker offset administrative costs and provide additional resources to families in need.
Way Maker is impacting the women in our community because of YOU.
Donor statements will be sent out soon.
Wishing you all a blessed, memorable, and very Merry Christmas!
